October in the Canadian Rockies is a time of changing colors and weather. We set out to explore and share some of the most stunning and rugged places within an hour's drive of the scenic town of Golden, BC, starting at the legendary Bugaboo Provincial Park.
Setting up shop at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, we explored the mountain's mountain biking trails, hiked the ridgeline from the gondola, and scaled the sheer rock walls of their via ferrata.
We saved the best for last, heading up into the heart of the Rocky Mountains to Lake O'Hara where we hiked the famed Alpine Circuit
